Sustainability for ACRA
ACRA works in a way that its programmes always take into consideration the fundamental elements of sustainability:
- Financial sustainability: the capacity to generate income and work for the livelihood of the population. But also, in the implementation of projects, intended as evaluation of the relevance, effectiveness and feasibility of the project from an economic and financial perspective, calculation of costs and benefits and of possibilities for continuation, for example to continue the services provided, beyond the duration of the project.
- Social and gender sustainability: the capacity to guarantee conditions of wellbeing (safety, health, education) equally distributed amongst social classes and genders.
- Environmental sustainability: the capacity to maintain quality and regeneration of natural resources.
- Institutional sustainability: the capacity to ensure conditions of stability, democracy, participation and justice.
