Two apps to support them in educating young people on the themes of the sustainability and seasonality of food.
“Robin’s Cake” is the story-game that will lead babies of the elementary schools to the discovery of a sustainable food. While having a good time, they will learn the seasonality of the products and the food sustainability.The app is an interactive tour in which Robin must find the correct ingredients to cook an apple pie and will discover agricultural markets, producers and shops that guarantee equity and solidarity.
Students of secondary schools will enjoy the app “EAThink Game”, three different games about the food processing chain aming to raising awareness on production, distribution and purchase of the sustainable food.
The two apps allow the teachers to directly involve the students through interactive contained.
The apps are avaible in: English, German, Croatian, Cypriot, French, Hungarian, Italian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Spanish.
EAThink2015 is a project for primary and secondary schools of 12 European and 2 African countries funded by the European Union with the objective of enhancing European students’ and teachers’ critical understanding and active engagement in global development challenges, with a specific focus on food security and sovereignty, sustainable food systems and smallholder farming.
